St Christopher’s School
Masterplan

St Christopher’s is an all-girls prep school on a tightly bounded urban site in Hampstead.

We were appointed to help the new leadership take a fresh look at their estate and develop a 10-year strategic masterplan to coincide with the school’s 150th anniversary.

We created a programme of engagement activities with staff, pupils and parents to deep dive into the school’s culture, ethos and operations, and coupled this with a forensic analysis of their site.

Engaging their whole community helped us learn what was important to the school and develop an imaginative, phased masterplan that focuses on getting more from what they currently have.

As part of our mission to make design education more inclusive, accessible and engaging, we welcomed fifty pupils from St Christopher’s to our Peckham studio for an all-day workshop with the team.
