N Family Club currently operates across London and the South East, providing almost 5,000 places across 54 nurseries.
Nursery World has recently ranked it as the UK’s eleventh largest nursery group.
In June 2026, the group announced plans to launch 80 American settings by 2032.
Its first, in Eagan, Minnesota, is due to open later this year under the name N Family School.
Ten sites are planned across Chicago and New York by the end of 2027.
Reporting on the expansion for Nursery World, Fiona Simpson quoted Phil Sunderland, founder and group chief executive of N Family Club:
‘Our vision remains unchanged as we scale: to be the highest quality, and most loved, early years education group in the world.’

The American programme will be led by Trudy Anderson, whose career in early education spans more than 25 years.
Anderson has held roles at KinderCare and Learning Care Group, an organisation with more than 1,000 settings across 40 states. She also led the expansion of its premium brand, Everbrook Academy, through more than 70 openings and conversions.
Anderson believes American families are looking for something more considered.
Nursery World also quoted her:
‘There’s a growing demand for a more thoughtful preschool experience, one that brings together beautifully designed environments, meaningful time outdoors, exceptional teaching, and a strong sense of community.’
The first test will come in later this year, with N Family School welcoming its first families at their new site in Eagan, Minnesota.
Updates to follow.
